very sturdy. would love a link to the rubber seals that fit this.I’m using them for emergency water storage, power outages. But I also carry them camping. Heavy duty and they store well because of the size. Love mine and I did buy three.I bought several of these for hurricane preparedness, got tired of the insanity of fighting for flats of water at the stores ahead of each storm. I considered other options but they all seemed flawed in some fashion, with leaking being the most common complaint. I then remembered using these cans in the Army, in 5-years my team had the same set bouncing around our truck with ammo and other equipment. Never had a problem then, and these arrived exactly as I had remembered them. I only wish the rubber O-rings were included given their expense. But I will concede they’re hardly necessary, they may drip if the cans are laid flat for an extended period. However, in most scenarios it’s not a worry and nothing drips in normal usage. The O-rings can be sourced separately if needed. The plastic is very thick and impressively stiff, helps ease carrying full cans since nothing gives or flexes. Zero worry of these cans from ever leaking or degrading.Only problem is the popular wrench made for nearly identical water cans does not work. The three lids do not fit. Disapointed.Just what I neededSturdyJust like the ones I had in the Army. No they dont come with an seal in the lid, ones in the Army didn't either. This is IT! It's not cheap, but way better than anything else out there. Made to gov spec, also comes in a different color, sand. Stored vertically is fine as is, but will leak without an optional gasket if you intend to store on the side.
