Putting together in 106 heat was a task, but very nice quality, now to put the other one together.I wrote a review upon receiving the chair that the material it is made from “stinks”. But after putting it together and having it air out, the horrible odor has disappeared. When you build it, I like that there are 3 holes/options for setting the back to your preferred angle.The chairs are good replica’s of more expensive versions from Loll Designs and I had no expectation that they’d be the same in quality or workmanship but there are a few details which would make all the difference.1. The arms are not smooth/flat. One of the benefits of an Adirondack design is they have wide arms where you can set a drink. These chairs, the surface of the arm isn’t completely flat, it has small waves in the material which means glasses don’t sit flat on the arms. They wobble because of the unevenness. Combine that with a slight incline and slippery material and it’s wise to keep your hand on your glass! Simply flattening the top surface would make a big difference.2. The screw holes in the seat are visible from the top and recessed meaning they are both noticeable and will collect dirt and water. A much better design would be to have the seat planks secured from the bottom. The back of the chair is secured this way from behind.3. Both chairs arrived late from Amazon because for whatever reason, they re-boxed them. I don’t know why as there was nothing wrong with the original packaging but it caused shipping delays for both orders.Overall, these chairs seem study and built to survive the elements and for 1/3 the price, you can’t expect them to match the build quality of the designer originals. But with a few simple changes, they’d be a lot closer!I don't normally write reviews but these deserve one. I searched high and low for PVC/Resin Adirondack chairs and they are either flimsy (thin plastic) or insanely expensive. They are also very hard to find right now, particularly in stock and/or in red. After searching everywhere in town and then on-line I finally landed on these. Exactly the four colors and style I wanted and 1-2 weeks, not months, out. They are solid, easy to put together, and look wonderful. If I could I've give them 4.5 stars because a few of the holes and angles were slightly off, but nothing a little effort couldn't overcome. My 12 yr old son and I put them together on average 10-15 minutes per chair. A ratchet set helps. One of the bottom slats gives slightly when you're getting up which feels flimsy but I think it's just a little flex and not structural. Also, they have a textured/dimpled look and I would have preferred smooth but they feel comfortable and five feet away you can't tell the difference. Definitely glad I bought these, especially at $199 each!The seat boards are too thin… I weight 188lbs and cause them to sag.The single horizontal support behind the chair back isn’t mounted strongly enough and is twisting. Overall I like the chair design, but a few poor engineered details made me underwhelmed overall.First off, love the design of these contemporary Adirondack chairs. We purchased two apple green and two blue in April 2021 so only 14 months ago. Two through Amazon and the other two through Resin Teak / Lakeside Casual since Amazon was out of stock of the blue chairs at that time.Last week we uncovered them from storage and found that dirt and mildew were all over even though covered through the winter - here in Western PA. Because they are made of resinteak, there are small groves throughout and we found them difficult to clean following winter storage. We attempted to clean them with water and a rag. Then water and a brush. Then water and Palmolive and brush. Got some mildew off but not much. Contacted Carlos and received no response on safe way to clean.Also, more disappointingly, we discovered substantial fading on the top of all arms of all 4 chairs - again ust after a year of use (really only summer/fall 2021). Confirmed fading with brand new green table bought a few months ago and comparing side by side.We were assured when we purchased that these would not fade unless we lived in a desert and they were in direct sun everyday for many many years.Unfortunately Representative Carlos would not stand behind the fading chairs and offered no solution - other than possible discount on future purchase - of which we have no interest).Definitely would not recommend due to the fading and poor customer support.I've been looking at these chairs for the last 2 years with prices as high as $500 per chair. I hesitantly ordered (4) due to the reasonable price and good ratings; but was skeptical of sturdiness and quality because of the great price. I am super impressed and absolutely love them! They are a gorgeous red color. Easy to assemble; took 15-20 min or so per chair. They are heavy, comfortable and I am confident we will be able to enjoy them for many years to come. You will not regret this purchase. These are comparable to the $500 chairs I had been eyeing with the high price tag.These are fantastic. Very sturdy (like... it takes a bit of effort to move them) and that’s what we needed for seating on gravel patio area since a less sturdy chair would wobble around . Got the matching ottomans too and I’m really looking forward to relaxing in these all summer long. Look modern but outdoorsy all at the same time which is definitely my style. I was not the person who assembled these, but that person has reported they go pretty well and fast and he’s been putting them together solo.
